Used Book Collection Starting Tomorrow!
In preparation for our December 9th Book Swap event, we are collecting gently used children's books. Collection bins will be in the kiss and go loop during morning drop off STARTING TOMORROW AND THROUGH NEXT MONDAY (11/29-12/5)! Thank you for your generous contributions!

Please Join us and get “Lost in the Woods” with your books!
WHEN: Friday, December 9th, 5:30-7 PM
WHERE: Wood Acres Elementary School Gymnasium
WHO: All WAES students (and families) dressed in their coziest PJ’S!
WHAT: Enjoy an evening of refreshing your children’s libraries, decorating bookmarks, taking a “book break” to sit & read new treasures, try out musical instruments with Bach to Rock musical experts, chat with a Librarian from Connie Morella Library, and hear from our new principal Dr. Zaks & what might have been one of her favorite childhood books! There will be a raffle with prizes and students will have the opportunity to fill a tote bag with a variety of new and gently used books. Also, on your way out, take home a Wood Acres cocoa to-go kit (available for pre-purchase through the event ticket link) to enjoy with your new books! Please purchase tickets by December 6th.
Students - $10, includes a tote for books, raffle tickets + gently used books.
Adults - FREE, but please register to help us adhere to the gym’s max capacity.
Cocoa to-go Kit - $10. Wood Acres Book Exchange ceramic mug filled with cocoa, marshmallows, and a candy cane to enjoy at home on a cozy night! Limited quantities available.
