Zoom PTA General Meeting to Elect PTA Board & Approve Budget

We will conduct a virtual Wood Acres General Membership meeting through Zoom on Tuesday, June 2nd at 7:00pm.  At this virtual Zoom meeting, we will have two items of business to vote on:

*Please note, we need at least 25 people to attend this Zoom meeting to have a quorum for the approval vote on these two items.*

The Wood Acres PTA Nominating Committee is pleased to announce the following slate of nominees for the 2020-2021 PTA Board of Directors:

  • President: Jen Sun

  • Executive Vice President: Nikki Blume

  • Secretary: Laura Emmett O’Connor

  • Treasurer: Brian Frank*

  • VP Academic Support: Jennifer Lewington

  • VP Communications: Jessica Gordon

  • VP Educational Issues: Megan Grumbine

  • VP Faculty & Facility Support: Kara Kerwin*

  • VP Family & Community Support: Kathryn Powell*

  • VP Fundraising: Amanda Cabe

  • MCCPTA Representatives: Paul Cornoni*, Meghan Mullan*

  • Whitman Cluster Representatives: Ajit Vaidya and Maura Merlis

  • Trustees: Elena Naum*, Sandy Zuylen, Courtney Dorning 

* Continuing in current role on the PTA Board.
 
Additional nominations may be submitted via email to our current PTA Secretary, Katie Wisecarver (receipt will be confirmed), no later than 7:00pm on June 1, 2020. In accordance with the PTA's bylaws, nominations may not be made from the floor at the June 2nd PTA General Membership Zoom meeting at 7pm.
