Donate your gently used items to the WAES 5th Grade Service Project Collection on Saturday, May 21st!
We are excited to bring back this year a WAES 5th Grade community service tradition by partnering with A Wider Circle (AWC). Wood Acres 5th Graders and parent volunteers will be collecting gently used household items, bedding, professional clothing, small kitchen appliances, lamps, toys, and more.
They will be in the front of the school (kiss-n-go loop) on Saturday, May 21st from 9am to 4pm. Please only donate items that are in dignity condition.
Priority Items Needed:
· Household items: TVs*, fans, AC units, vacuum cleaners, small area rugs up to 6’ x 8’, picture frames, art work, rolling luggage (*must have HDMI port and feet (nothing that mounts); can’t accept CRT TVs over 30”)
· Linens: blankets, sheets, and towels
· Kids toys (older kids)
· Professional clothing: in-season attire for men and women, including but not limited to suits/blazers, dress pants, dress shirt, blouses, sweaters, new or very gently used shoes, belts, ties, accessories (briefcases, tie clips, purses, jewelry, new packaged hosiery)
Other Items Requested:
· Kitchen items: pots & pans, sets of dishes, sets of silverware, cooking utensils, small appliances
· Baby clothing: up to size 4
· Baby gear: changing tables, strollers, highchairs, pack n' plays, car seats
· Dental care kits: toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash
