PTA General Meeting

We will conduct a virtual Wood Acres General Membership meeting via Webex on Tuesday, June 1st at 7:00pm.  At this virtual meeting, we will have two items of business to vote on:

*Please note, we need at least 25 people to attend this virtual meeting to have a quorum for the approval vote on these two items.
The Wood Acres PTA Nominating Committee is pleased to announce the following slate of nominees for the 2021-2022 PTA Board of Directors:

  • Co-Presidents: Nikki Blume-Hansel and Jessica Gordon

  • Secretary: Laura Emmett O’Connor*

  • Treasurer: Stephanie Hartzberg

  • VP Academic Support: Jennifer Lewington*

  • VP Communications: Niki Engle-DeMonaco

  • VP Educational Issues: Christina Hwang

  • VP Faculty & Facility Support: Cindy Mann

  • VP Family & Community Support: Kathryn Powell*

  • Co-VP Fundraising: Suzanne Kimpel and Deb Klotz Schlossberg

  • MCCPTA Representatives: Vedrana Istuk and John McCarrick

  • Whitman Cluster Representatives: Ajit Vaidya* and Maura Merlis*

  • Trustees: Brian Frank, Courtney Moseman, Sandy Zuylen*

* Continuing in current role on the PTA Board. 
Additional nominations may be submitted via email to our current PTA Secretary, Laura Emmett-O'Connor (receipt will be confirmed), no later than 7:00pm on May 31, 2021. In accordance with the PTA's bylaws, nominations may not be made from the floor at the June 1st PTA General Membership meeting at 7pm.

PTA General Meeting Webex Information will be provided via school-wide email and in Wildcat Week Ahead (WWA). **Note that in order to participate in the vote, you must be able to be on video or use the chat.  If you only call in via phone, you will not be able to submit a vote.
