HIKE DETAILS

- Starting at the Nature Center, we’ll head south on the Western Ridge Trail on a moderate 3-4 mile hike, past the Equitation Field, and then down hill and across the park along the horse trails to the Creek. We'll cross Boulder Bridge, head north on the rolling Valley Trail, then cross the Creek again at Rapids Bridge. From there, we'll head (uphill!) back to the Nature Center. Along the way, we'll have 3-4 stops for food and water.

- All children must be accompanied by an adult, and no more than two children for every one adult. 

- Remember to bring hiking-appropriate footwear and clothes, and lots of snacks and water for the kids! Snacks are the key to a happy kid hiker!

- The only bathroom is at the Nature Center, just fyi.
