Martha's Table Sandwich and Meals For Minds CollectionThis is a way to involve your children in helping to feed the homeless at Martha’s Table right out of your own kitchen for McKenna’s Wagon and Meals for Minds. WHEN? The final collection this school year will be on Monday April 30th, 2012. HOW? First wash hands and clean the work surface as not to spread any unnecessary germs. We encourage each family to make 1-2 loaves of sandwiches or as many as you would like, consisting of cheese, any meat, or peanut butter and jelly. Please wrap each sandwich individually and then return to the loaf bag. DO NOT use condiments on the sandwiches.
If you are unable to make sandwiches for the February 6th collection date, please feel free to instead raid your pantry and contribute the following requested items for the Meals for Minds grocery pantry: pasta and beans.
WHERE? In the morning before the bell on collection days, there will be volunteers at the bus entrance, the main entrance, and the kiss and ride entrance collecting the sandwiches and non-perishable food items.
